I've been coming to Dr. Rothstein for years. After having some truly horrific experiences with dentists outside the county, Dr. Rothstein quickly gained my trust. Its a pleasure to come in and be greeted by friendly and warm staff and get the services I need without fear of pain. All of the staff at this practice have shown genuine care and compassion!

Dr. Michael Rothstein is a very caring compassionate person. He really cares about your comfort. He even calls the night of your procedure to see how you are feeling. His office girls are very warm and friendly too. His hygienist, Niurca who we would never leave is gentle and does a great cleaning job. I have been going to this office for many years. I recommend Dr. Michael Rothstein very highly.

What can i say. Dr Rothstein and his staff have treated me and my family with the utmost respect and courtesy. They are honest hard working and wont try to sell you services that you dont need. With The staffs care, my teeth and gums have been rejuvenated. About a year ago i moved so i made the decision to go to a new dentist. Boy did i make a big mistake. Since it is very difficult to find a dentist to trust with your children, I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Rothstein. From staff to Dr Rothstein...Professional, accommodating, informative, comforting, gentle, skillful...five stars. Since I have taken my children to him two years ago, and now I see him as well,..my entire family now sees him. I refer everyone I know to him. I sing his praises very much deserved.

After having several disappointing visits to my former dentist, Dr. Lustbader, I was referred to Dr. Rothstein by my boss, and I'm certainly very glad to have made the switch. Dr. Rothstein performs cleanings himself as opposed to a hygienist, and he was very thorough when inspecting my mouth. He is young (30ish), so you don't have to worry about your dentist dying as he performs an extraction. He's extremely nice, and I truly enjoy his energy and charisma. Fraudulent and dishonest practice. Hygienist tries to convince you to get "treatments" which are not needed or covered by insurance. Even submits claims for fraudulent treatments. For instance, sprayed gums under bridge with an antiseptic (not injected into gums) claiming you have an abscess and then charges $75. Could have done the same thing rinsing mouth or even more effectively putting antiseptic in my water pic. I have been a patient at The Smilist in New City for many years, along with my husband and son. Over the past year we discovered a consistent pattern of procedures being performed and billed without prior discussion or consent across all three of our accounts. For a while I loved this dentist and the staff. I am currently pregnant and have only been scheduling cleanings. I had an apt. today at 3pm. I'm sure of this because I received 2 reminder texts. When I showed up for my cleaning the receptionist said they did NOT have me in their system. I showed them the reminder text I got, 2x. I was told "Sorry we don't have room for you today, we can schedule you for next tuesday". They were not even apologetic or accommodating. .I had bridge constructed by Dr. Auerbach at cost of $5000.00. It came out within 3 weeks. Dr. Auerbach gave poor explanation. I am a dentist and know why it did. I had to have all teeth removed. I instituted a small claims case to get my money refunded.
