I used to frequent this restaurant much more regularly, but feel the service has gone down. The past two times I visited, the appetizers came out at the same time as the main course, and the bread came out later. Even though I mentioned it (nicely), nothing was done in response. The bathrooms were dirty, too. Most likely won't be returning because there are other restaurants that deliver better service very nearby.
Kept waiting a very long time even with reservations. Terribly understaffed. Needed better manager and more waiters. Food always very good
Asked for garlic mashed potatoes with my meal. Was told by waiter, "no problem ",, got plain mashed . Told hostess who was nearby and when almost finished with the rest of my meal it arrived.. Only problem garlic was raw.. told person clearing the table to let waiter know. And no apology just a bill...
The limited menu for valentines day didn't give me the full experience of this restaurant.
Had a really disappointing dining experience unrelated to the quality of the food or service. Making matters worse, we were celebrating a special birthday occasion. I had made a reservation for a party of 6 well in advance and, upon checking in, the hostess attempted to seat us in the bar area. Now, if you have ever been to Thom Thom, the bar area can get extremely noisy and crowded on a Saturday night - which is why it's separated from the main dining area with a wall. When we first arrived for our 6:15 reservation we were told there were no tables in the main dining room. The hostess suggested eating in the bar area because there were 2 couples ahead of us waiting for seating as well. We had never been to Thom Thom before and since it didn't seem that crowded in the bar area we decided to sit. Our waiter came over and promptly took our order and was very attentive. Would not go back. Went on a recommendation of a friend. Bad service from waitress to bus boys getting water or bread had to ask numerous times and still did not get . Martini's were terrible bartenders not real bartenders. Waitress never hardly came back to the table when needed we had to get others to get her attention. Food average. Service bad.
Initial impression - the place gets crowded on a Friday night. The parking lot is ridiculously small and can't accommodate enough cars. Interior is dark and somewhat drab. The walls and lighting look old. It looks more like a pub place than a seafood/steakhouse as they promote it. Food - Crispy Pork and Scallion Dumplings were only crispy on the botton where they fried them.
