When we first started going there I would definitely recommend them. Now....not so much. I've had appointments twice now where the clinic wasn't open because the front desk staff didn't come in to unlock the clinic. I have been trying to call them for the past few days to get a prescription refill for my dog and no one answers. I stopped by and the clinic is locked. I love Dr. Beach who helped me get moving with a heartworm treatment for my 10yr old retriever. That's the ONLY reason I went back because they are way overpriced. Not one bit affordable. I went back for rabies shot (which says on their website is only needed every 3 years) , flea meds and an allergy shot. $550 and a different vet later I'm wondering why my ten yr old dog got REtested for heartworms and I was told dr. I scheduled an appointment after the vet here told me my dog has a mast cell tumor and wanted to do surgery and dental at the same time. Our experience with Dr. Mallory Cade and her tech, London, was friendly and conversational at first. Cade was very informational. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the tech giving my doggie her shots. She became cold and almost scared of my dog where she injected her multiple times (3-4) before administering the dose. Updating to change this. Wish I could leave zero stars The receptionist is the rudest most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. Again trying to fill my dogs prescription and she has excuses as to why they can't call 1800petmeds. Keeps saying I can get it in office (again more expensive). Thrive "Affordable" Pet Care doesn't understand what "affordable" means, and Thrive is a good example of the problem with healthcare. Thrive will not reveal its pricing to anyone without first paying $38 consultation fee which includes----- really nothing except you having to wait 1-2 hours past your appointment only to be given an exorbitant price. Whether you say "yes" or "no", you still lose $38 ($53 if you called the Petco by North Star Mall). I understand that there are various issues that can arise, but there has to be... read more

Horrible customer service. My kitten had a poop emergency and I had to pull over so he wasn't covered in poop for his appointment. This made me late to my appointment. Upon arrival, the receptionist didn't greet me and attended to other walk in's. I explained why I was late. The receptionist stated that I should have called her and since I didn't she was not going to allow my pet to be seen. I was less than 30 min late. I will never return to this place again... complete lack of compassion.
