This clinic continually raises their prices. They have a different set of rules than any other Thrive clinic. The staff is constantly new. They are the slowest location I've been to, and have been forgotten in a room many times. They will not communicate with any outside pharmacy, forcing you to use their own in-house pharmacy service, which is more expensive than anywhere else, and that is WITH the membership discount. The new receptionist is also very snarky about any questioning of their policies - "I dont make the rules"... read more

Pet owners beware... If you ever have to go the emergency animal hospital, formerly on Broadway and 410, which is now called "THRIVE", DONT GO! On Monday night, our cats tail was slammed in a door, and it cut through all the way to the bone being exposed i.e. an emergency visit to a hospital was imperative. She was bleeding all over the carrier and suffering serious pain. We arrived at the new facility a few blocks from the old one, to admit her. This was at 645 pm. When we first started going there I would definitely recommend them. Now....not so much. I've had appointments twice now where the clinic wasn't open because the front desk staff didn't come in to unlock the clinic. I have been trying to call them for the past few days to get a prescription refill for my dog and no one answers. I stopped by and the clinic is locked. I love Dr. Beach who helped me get moving with a heartworm treatment for my 10yr old retriever. That's the ONLY reason I went back because they are way overpriced. Not one bit affordable. I went back for rabies shot (which says on their website is only needed every 3 years) , flea meds and an allergy shot. $550 and a different vet later I'm wondering why my ten yr old dog got REtested for heartworms and I was told dr. I scheduled an appointment after the vet here told me my dog has a mast cell tumor and wanted to do surgery and dental at the same time. My frenchie is 11 years old and I wanted to do more diagnostics before I made my decision. I scheduled an appt and was told that I would have to pay urgent care fee because my dog is sick. Our experience with Dr. Mallory Cade and her tech, London, was friendly and conversational at first. Cade was very informational. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience with the tech giving my doggie her shots. She became cold and almost scared of my dog where she injected her multiple times (3-4) before administering the dose. It was very bothersome for my husband and I to see our doggie in pain or yelp. There was no kindness toward our dog. Updating to change this. Wish I could leave zero stars The receptionist is the rudest most unprofessional person I've ever encountered. Again trying to fill my dogs prescription and she has excuses as to why they can't call 1800petmeds. Keeps saying I can get it in office (again more expensive). Thrive "Affordable" Pet Care doesn't understand what "affordable" means, and Thrive is a good example of the problem with healthcare. Thrive will not reveal its pricing to anyone without first paying $38 consultation fee which includes----- really nothing except you having to wait 1-2 hours past your appointment only to be given an exorbitant price.
