Five Stars Genuine Brother ink and quick shipping! Just what I wanted.
This has been a wonderful printer so far This has been a wonderful printer so far, I have only had it a few weeks so I am waiting to see how it does over time.
Reliable and I get more pages than I expected I have a Brother MFC-L8850CDW Wireless Color Laser Printer with Scanner, Copier and Fax which uses the TN336 series extended toner cartridges. In my use I find I get more pages out of Brother toner cartridges than I expect. The brand name brother cartridges also provide crisp output and results at a very economical price. DO NOT PURCHASE The Brother TN336BK toner cartridge I purchased through Amazon is defective; it has been spilling toner all over the drum and creating streaks on all the papers. I called Brother’s customer service and they won’t replace the cartridge since the 90-day warranty period has ended. The cartridge still has plenty of toner in it yet, they only stand by products for 90-days. Brother does not stand by its products. It makes shoddy, defective products so I guess it makes sense they wouldn’t stand up for them.
Cartridge fails after using less than half the ink. My printer started printing dirty pages that were smudged all over. After some research, I found how to clean the roller and did so. The first page out came out cleaner, but the printing rapidly became dirty again. I ordered a new cartridge, cleaned the roll, and inserted the new toner cartridge. Defective Product This toner is an every 6-month subscription with Amazon. Printer needed new black toner last week. Took toner off my shelf and out of the box and installed directly into printer. "Replace Toner" message did not go away. Tried the couple of recommended fixes, but "Replace Toner" light still did not go away. Printer won't work with that toner light on. Very poor return policy for defective item This product did not work - it left blank pages inside of each page. I was not permitted to return it because I discovered the problem outside of the return window. I didn't discover the problem earlier because this is a printer ink cartridge that I didn't need until the window had expired. Like most businesses, I buy item I know I will need in the next month or two in order to have them on hand when I need them. Ridiculous that this type of product has a return expiration window. Toner waste bin is too small This is a negative for the Brother cartridge TN-336BK. Since this is the same physical size of the TN331BK, the waste bin must be about the same size. After awhile the bin fills and overflows causing streaks down the page. I have taken the cartridge out several times and cleaned the excess toner that was all over. Cartridge Leaked So my cartridge leaked. Being I have three of these printers, I order them in advance. I was told that they only have a 90 day warranty and because of that they will not replace a cartridge that fails. Learned a lesson, when you buy 3 $500 printers and $400 in cartridges every 3 months, DO NOT BUY BROTHER! They do not stand behind their products!
