We accepted a quote that we were only given two weeks to accept back on April 9, 2021. We were quoted a start date of May, then June then end of June then beginning of July and now quoted the mid of July. Just a month my time frame quote; never an actual start date. And the only time we were notified from the company of the new quote date was when we personally reached out to them to find out what was going on. It was definitely not a typical job but call me crazy, I thought it was fun to design and you made it a pleasure for the installation crew:) ..... concrete removal, underground (driveway and the garage) boring for storm sewer line, custom deep sump, custom lid to accept weight, garage concrete removal, plumbing for driveway drain, dog shower, retention area and return drain line! And most of the lines are gravity driven, so we did not need a lift pump..booyah... read more
Kevin Oberhouse d.b.a. DIVERSIFIED GROUP LLC / Toledo Basement Repair took $14,900 dollars from us on October 24th, 2017. He started the work of replacing the foundation under our 110-year-old timber frame home. The city of Maumee inspectors issued 6 "RED TAG" STOP WORK ORDERS on the workmanship! Kevin Oberhouse d.b.a. DIVERSIFIED GROUP LLC / Toledo Basement Repair abandoned the job on December 23rd 2017.
Took 4 times to get job right. They put 5 steel beams up. First time out tried putting wood blocks up on floor joist and 2 beams up, husband put stop to it we were told they would use steel brackets, they left the floor brace brakets ruff and sharp, my husband ground them down, and he leveled the steel beams that were installed, second time out put steel braces up and split 6 of the 8 floor joists and 1 of the beams not installed level and not bracing wall.
