While we can both agree that the first incident was due to a coding error, it was the second incident that I still contest. I was never told that my dog would need a follow-up visit. On your first visit there was simply a mistaken entry. We offer a specially priced pain control package for the animals that we spay or neuter for the City of Salinas Shelter. Your pain drugs were entered under the wrong code. I am glad you caught that error. I am as frustrated as you are about our medication costs but unfortunately medications are expensive. A few months ago I had to take my dog in. I called to see what the office visit cost. Was quoted a certain amount, I think about $45 then after going there they charged me $59 for office visit even after I told her what I was quoted on phone. She said that was there old pricing from a couple months back. Hmmmm, it was just yesterday when girl had quoted me this when I made appt.
