All they did when I was there was check vitals signs, nasal swab x2, finger stick (for Covid antibodies) and a doctor to do a basic exam listening to my heart and lungs. Was there for maybe 45 min total. They then charged my insurance over $17,000 putting thousands of dollars in supplies, durable medical equipment, and venipuncture (only had a finger stick) on my EOB! My son and I went in for a COVID test. After speaking with them and them telling me they ARE IN NETWORK we did our COVID tests and now I have 2 16K bills. $150 for a pair of latex gloves is just ONE of the insane charges. Plus they ARE NOT in my network. I will NEVER go back to this ER again. Front staff was rude and dismissive.
Beware! The $50 COVID-19 test they advertise is a scam. TotalCare is under investigation for fraudulent billing. My brother paid for his $50 test at the clinic, but this week an insurance bill showed up for over $8,000. When in for a Covid test and my insurance got billed 16,000 for it. Don't go there! it is fast qas there less than 30 mins but the say will only cost you $50 and end up with a ridiculous bill!
Get more help for Covid testing!! My son spent 8 freakin hours waiting on Christmas Eve to get a 10 minute Covid test!!! That’s insane and absolutely wrong! Don’t offer the testing if you can’t do better than that!
This place practices unscrupulous business. They are luring people in for $50 Covid tests and then charging their insurance company $10,000. THIS is why all of our insurance premiums are sky high. Support businesses that are ethical instead. TotalCare, just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should. The greed here is unbelievable.
