Wonderful evening. One of our favorite spots. We even had a nice visit with Jeff, the general manager who stopped over to introduce himself and ensure we had a wonderful wonderful evening!
Very crowded and noisy. The food and service were good. The ambience felt like a midtown luncheonette because of the bright lights and closely lit tables. Fine dining prices without the fine dining experience.
Excellent experience overall. The vegetable antipasto choices and the veal Milanese are particularly noteworthy!

Our dinner with Pedro at the helm of the dining ship at Trattoria Des rAtes was flawless. The whole atmosphere is of fun, festive times, with a lot of great food to be shared. Don't miss the pastas, which are silky smooth, the halibut that is accompanied by lobster ravioli, the osso bucco , and of course, their famous antipasto bar, offering the best selection of marinated veggies in the city. Good Experience overall
The food was fantastic, and the grilled artichokes appetizer was such a treat! Our server was wonderful, but all the servers seem to keep an eye on you!
