Our waiter Anthony was fantastic. They have the thinnest and best pizza anywhere in NYC. There is an assortment of vegetables prepared so may different ways on their antipasti bar and it is simply delicious. You cannot go wrong with anything on their menu. Not to mention the wonderful, amazing desserts that are worth every calorie. It is an experience you will never forget.

This restaurant is now under the umbrella of the company that owns Fiorello’s, Bond 45 and others in the area. The menu is extremely similar and the food tastes the same in all of these corporate restaurants. The chicken parm and lasagna are standouts. Vegetable selections on the antipasto buffet can be a good way to start the meal; however, the selections sometimes taste as if they have spent much too long on display.

The pricing was quite expensive for most of the dishes so I can’t say pricing was excellent. The service was well worth it. We enjoyed ourselves and had a nice array of food for the end of the day. We felt completely at home. Mr. Baskins gave us a warm, sincere welcome. The mood was perfect and the hospitality was warm. Our waiter was cheery and informative. We enjoyed ourselves more than expected.

The food, service, ambience at Trattoria is always top-notch. It's perfect dining before or after the theater or a Carnegie Hall concert (conveniently right across the street). This restaurant for me and several of my friends. You just can't go wrong with any meal here.
