Delicious food with top notch service in a cool spot
Table was soso located at an emergency exit , food was good. bathrooms were very dirty and gross. Overall experience was ok but not excellent. Don't know if I would return though

I have visited this establishment several times. It always feels as though you are a returning family menu. Service is exceptional, from the greeting, the wait staff, bar staff.The food is trattoria simple, delicious and well presented. I have taken clients here and they have all raved. Myfamily always looks forward to a return visit. It is also a great celebrity spotting venue, likely due to the proximity toCarnegis Hall.
Second time eating at Trattoria in the last few months. I loved the bolognese tordelli ravioli so much the first time, I ordered it again. Also split the meatball appetizer with my husband. Both were delicious. My husband’s rigatoni with lobster and shrimp diavolo was disappointing- it did not have an abundance of shrimp or lobster. Waitress was rude and unfriendly. Went down to the city for the day and my wife brought me here for my birthday. Food was wonderful and our server was fantastic. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for excellent Italian food.
Great meal after the theater. Excellent ambiance, wait and service staff.
