We went there for Christmas Eve Dinner. It was the first visit in many years. And now, I don't know why we haven't eaten there more often. It is terrific. Portions are ample and the food is really good, despite the fact that it is a large restaurant. Their salads are large. The fried Roman artichokes are about as good as any I had in the city. We had white truffle tagliolini. While it was a bit dry, it was excellent and loaded with truffles, given that it was white truffles, it was relatively inexpensive. The pizza (served a... read more

My husband and I work a lot so we took off to the city for a few days to celebrate the Christmas holiday on her own. We always love this restaurant and return every time we are in the city. The service and food is always excellent as well as the selection from a great menu. It is one of our favorites in New York.

We sat upstairs for Christmas Eve dinner and it was fantastically quiet even though the tables were full! The acoustics upstairs make this a rare find in a City full of restaurants that you cannot hear each other talk when they're full! Downstairs it's hectic and loud, but if you can score upstairs seating, it was divine! Food was very good, prices are great, waitstaff excellent, conveniently located, good ambiance, comfortable seating, great size tables... Highly recommend.

Good food, nice restaurant. Service was non existent. Looked at our empty plates and glasses for 40 minutes. Had to ask them to clear the table. They could have sold us a few more drinks but they missed the opportunity.

Still great pre theater. Delicious antipasti. Petite lobster tail was well prepared and just enough with the filling antipasti and tastes from my dinner companions chicken parm. Best chicken parm. Only downside was there was no room for dessert.

We had antipasto, pizzas, pasta, wine. Antipasto was subpar. Pastas and pizzas were good. Ridiculously small wine pours for $15. Probably won't return.

It was freezing where we were sitting and the table was too small for four people.

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place and he hit it out of the park. Lovely meal and experience.
