We’ve dined at Trattoria for many years and enjoyed everything: the beautiful spacious room, excellent food and professional service. Sunday brunch was always particularly good. Yesterday we met out of town friends and found the menu seemed cut in half, there were no brunch cocktails included and the prices had gone up. Always a great dinner. I must in NYC
Our server was amazing and the food was wonderful. We were undressed for the restaurant due to travel circumstances and weather but were treated just like the wealthiest customers there. Our server made great drink recommendations and even provided a free antipasto appetizer to celebrate our daughters first visit to the city. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend and would love to return.

We have been here several times. The food is great and the service has been hit or miss. The issue I have is this, the first time We sat in the basement and service was very attentive, food was great but it’s a basement. The second time we sat in the main dinning area, that was great. The food was great, service was perfect great area to enjoy the dinner with family and friends. Something was missing from my visit to Trattoria Dell Arte but it was still good!
Trying to organize an extended family gathering around the holidays in NY is a challenge. Trattoria Dell’Arte was terrific to work with leading up to our dinner for 11 family members from four corners of the continent. Their suggestion to pre-order apps for the table was spot on. And without exception our entries were delicious, as were the suggested wines.
