The atmospherics, the service, and the food were all outstanding as they have been consistently for each of our previous visits.
The experience was fine. I don't expect peace and quiet across the street from Carnegie Hall on a Saturday night. We met a delightful couple next to us and had a very interesting conversation. The table service was EXCELLENT and so was the food. We'll be back.

The food and service were both excellent. It's large and very noisy, so it's not a place to go for intimate or small group conversations.
Been going there for yr always a great experience
We were rushed through the meal. We slowed it down for dessert and coffee. Some food not fresh or appealing looking. Used to be one of my favorites. Not anymore.
We dined at Trattoria Dell’Arte pre-theater. We informed our waiter and he told us we had plenty of time and to relax and enjoy our dinner. He was absolutely correct. We had drinks, an appetizer, a main course and dessert and plenty of time to get to the theater. Our favorite appetizer or side dish is an assortment from the antipasto selections. Perfect for Carnegie Hall events. Food, service and ambience was very good. Prices were ok but you must consider the is NYC. Overall I recommend TDA and think you will enjoy.
