We dined the same night as 3 groups of 12+: Too loud and our table wasn’t serviced quickly by the restaurant. Our individual server was great but there were too many distractions overall. And the restaurant needs sound absorption.
I go there often and have never been disappointed. I ask for a quite table and normally get seated in the front. I've eaten at the bar occasionally and also find that pleasant. Food is always top notch, and waiters are very attentive. Wine list is excellent but pricey.
We had a party of nine, which often means the service and food can be less than stellar. At Trattoria Dell’Arte the service was impeccable, and the food excellent. The perfect choice for a family celebration before watching a performance at Carnegie Hall.

Each of the three dining rooms have their own ambiance and each offers the same quality food and service. The chicken Milanese is platter size portion and every bite delicious.
Wonderful festive atmosphere. Food was very good except for the eggplant. Noisy but not too noisy to talk. Nice waiter who looked like Frank Sinatra as a young man. Would definitely recommend and already have.
