The restaurant is very convenient to Carnegie Hall, which is why we chose it. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. The food, however-meh. We both had baked fish with artichoke hash. The hash was a little too salty and the fish overcooked. We started with a roasted beet and goat cheese salad. It was large enough to be split. Dessert choices were standard Italian. All in all-good, not great.
I've dined here many times when I visit NY. I did not think the food was up to their usual. I will return since I have had many good experiences there.
Some in our party were happy with their meal, but some were not.
Food was great—- had salad and a fantastic pizza. Noisy kids next to us we’re annoying( oh well)
We were running late arriving in NY. When we called to let them know we were going to be late they were very accommodating. When we arrived ( with luggage) they didn’t blink an eye, stored our luggage and sat us immediately. Food was excellent and the staff wonderful. One of our “go to” restaurants in the city.
The staff were outstanding! Very helpful and understanding of my Dad’s disability. Thank you.
Always a favorite while in Midtown, antipasto selection top notch, the best thin crust pizza this side of the pond. Very bustling place, Never disappoints!
