Sage is one of best servers I have had. He’s really great and a treasure for Trattoria.
This place is absolutely amazing. Christian and the staff make you feel welcomed and they are so friendly and accommodating. This was my fourth time visiting in two years. My first experience was in 2017 while attending a conference for business. Our first night back in 2017, we got their late and we were treated like royalty. If you are looking for good but not special then this works but I was expecting better. It is convenient to Carnegie Hall that's for sure. Cocktails were fine but pricey. Appetizers were fine but not as good as the price would have indicated. Someone could have chopped up the lettuce for the caesar rather than presenting a plate of whole leaves. Even though Italian is not my favorite cuisine (pasta just doesn't do it for me), I can always count on this restaurant to do a great job with their non-pasta options. I opted to having the seafood risotto for dinner, and it was EXCELLENT. I chose this restaurant because my colleague and I were thinking about seeing a show at Carnegie and needed a quick bite to eat.
