Food was excellent. Ambiance? Very noisy. Not ideal for a business dinner. Our server was arrogant - although he thought he was the bomb, for sure. And yes, we closed the dining room although the bar was still open - still, it's never appreciated when the bus person tries to take your wine glass. Not once. Not twice. But three times before you're even finished. He said they wanted to wash the glasses. I guess it was passed their bedtime. Too many great places to eat in NYC - we won't be back.
Warm greeting, nice, quiet table, attentive, informed service, interesting menu, large portions of good, tasty, enjoyable food. Very positive restaurant experience.
Management excellent but waiters not always great. In New York for 10 days twice a year and eat at one of three restaurants Café Del RTA or redeye Grill or Fiorello‘s. Café Del RTA is our favorite as the other two are very noisy. Also Café Del RTA has older posts and they’re always very amiable tried to be very helpful whereas redeye is no longer the same. Fiorello‘s is just far too noisy.
Consistently good. Brandon runs a tight ship. Always remembers his guests and is simply lovely to everyone who comes in. One of my all time favorites.
Excellent!! I had the tuna and my friend had the bronzino. Both dishes were fresh, flavorful and well-prepared. The service was also fantastic!! Can't wait to go again.
My new favorite Italian restaurant mid town. Great food, wonderful decor, beautiful happy people, noise and love. Fell in love!!! Mark is about the best waiter ever. Want to go back many times!
This was my 2nd time at Trattoria Dell'Arte this year and I was so pleased with the experience from start to finish. We traveled in from out of town to meet friends for lunch, and we arrived earlier than expected so we waited at the bar. Benjamin, the bartender, created such a warm, inviting atmosphere. It was no surprise that several customers greeted him by name as they arrived. Our food was wonderful, and our server, Nicholas, was also top-notch. This has become one of my favorite spots to eat in the city!
We shared the veal and it was ample for two people and reasonable at 60$ Our server was very inattentive and it was obvious he catered to the two tables adjacent to ours This was our fourth visit and due to service we will think about returning There are numerous Italian restaurants to chose from in NYC
Heard a lot about this Italian restaurant for some time so we figured we’d check it out. It’s across from Carnegie Hall. This is an artsy restaurant for the artsy crowd. The food is pretty good however, so is your local NJ/NY italian joint. It’s dated, the service was ok, and there’s nothing really special here. Next time plan a few weeks in advance and check out somewhere where the walls in the basement aren’t covered with plaques of “Where to Eat in 1999”.
