Very pleased. Great for pre-performance. Staff friendly and efficient. Lasagna a little more salty for my taste. Excellent deserts.

Trattoria Del Arte was recommended to me by a friend who had worked in New York for 20 years before moving to Denver. As my husband and I were on vacation in New York, we decided to try it with our son who had flown in with us. We had a late lunch at 3 PM, very quiet, seat by the window across from Carnegie Hall, and a very solicitous server. We all chose different Prix Fixe meals so that we could share, and everything was delicious, from soup and salad to seafood risotto, a fresh fish dish and my favorite, a flattened chick... read more

We were visiting NYC for a few days and we had limited opportunities to eat at restaurants since we also wanted to experience street food. Choosing this place was our best choice of the trip. The food was great, service was impeccable and although they brought out our apps and entrées simultaneously, which wasn't a big deal for our group, our waiter remedied the situation by giving us dessert on the house and apologized profusely. We were treated to more freebies with the apperitif that our hostess offered. Overall, this pla... read more

Trattoria Dell'Arte is always welcoming, fun, energetic, with great food. A fun place to go for good food and boisterous atmosphere.

Welcomed in by one heck of a handsome host and our request (after being seated) to be accommodated away from kitchen was fulfilled instantly. Food was very tasty and served in timely manner. Wait staff very professional and attentive too. We did not anticipate that this restaurant would be so noisy - not sure how this can be remedied, but we do not recommend bringing someone who is sensitive to loud places.

Delightful restaurant across the street from Carnegie hall. The veal chop with porcini mushroom sauce was to die for, the best that I had ever had. Service superb. Waitstaff willing to make any modification to menu that customer could reasonably desire. Best restaurant we ate at during a week visiting New York.
