One of our favorite spots to eat - every time we visit NYC!
Food and service were both excellent! We had a pizza and Chicken milanese and loved both!

A friendly and gracious welcome from the host and seating upstairs, away from the crowds and noise below, made our dinner a nice treat to reconnect with out of town family. The wine list offered some nice regional finds from Italy that aren't often seen, and our waiter was great about offering a taste of the selections before we ordered a bottle - that turned into 3 bottles before dinner was done! Having dined here many times before while visiting NYC Trattoria Dell Arte' has become a personal favorite and regular stop! The food is always amazing and some dishes but not all our abundant, but the flavors are always memorable no matter what you order! We arrived 15 minutes early to our reserved time of 7:30 p.m. The maitre'd treated us like we were a nuisance. Rather than invite us cordially to sit at the bar to wait for our assigned booth, he rushed us onto an available table-- which was very small, in the main corridor, and which was passed frequently by many waiters and busboys.
