Authentic Italian! A must when visiting NYC! Everything is first-rate, fresh and absolutely delicious!
From the minute you are greeted by the Owner you know you are in for a treat. The staff could not be more friendly and accommodating - the perfect spot for a relaxing, delicious pre-theatre dinner. You are not crammed in AND you can actually enjoy a dinner conversation even on a Saturday night! Will definitely be back and will recommend to one and all!
This is the restaurant I book when I know I want great food, service, location and atmosphere. The staff work very hard and are always friendly. I know some of the waiters and host's so well we recognize one another. I particularly love the appetizers and sometimes that's all we eat. They are on view for all to see once you walk in the restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is a sister restaurant to Cafe Fiorello another must try and one we book for dinner prior to every Lincoln Center event we attend.
We love this restaurant and look forward to going every time we are in NYC!

This was our 4th visit to the restaurant from out of town, but unfortunately not one of the best. The food was good, as per usual, but the service was so poor as to be downright insulting. Our lead waiter, Joey D according to the charge slip, seemed like a good guy, but he was much too occupied and attentive to a near-by larger party to service us right. So the table service was slow.
