This is a good restaurant that is WAY too noisy. Too many tables too close together. Like its "partner" Fiorello's, the food is very good and the location is perfect for Carnegie Hall, but the noise level is overwhelming.

The octopus and calamari was as tender as can be. Too tough to decide which dinner was the best out of the 4, all were great. Save room for dessert or you'll be disappointed. Service was attentive and fun. We'll be back soon.

super friendly staff and quite a big place. The food was good but I thought the prices were a bit steep so would probably not come back on my own dime with all the other Italian choices in this fabulous city! $50 for veal parm? Yikes.

Entire staff was uniformly friendly & welcoming. Dishes were a little erratic: Burratta appetizer was very attractively presented, but specialty Calf's Liver alla Veniciana was rather run of the mill. Room far in the back of the restaurant was very quiet when we started an early dinner, but reached the energetic level later on. I would give a qualified recommendation.

We had a really nice dinner here Friday night. We had a reservation but could have been seated without one fairly quickly. Not that it wasn't crowded because it was but not too tight. The ambiance is typical loud and large Italian restaurant - jovial almost. My husband had been here 2 weeks before for work and he insisted we come for our mini vacation too. He told me I had to try the chicken parm. It was everything he claimed it to be. We split it because it is THAT big. It's just the right amount of crispy and moist. It sho... read more
