If I lived in Manhattan, this would be my favourite restaurant to visit for any occasion. The food is always consistently delicious and creative. The service (from the coat check person - maitre de, server, and attendants) makes one feel like a celebrity as special care is given throughout the dining experience. The food and service at Trattoria Dell' Arte combine to make a most memorable dining adventure.

Perfect pizza and pasta. The waiter recommended perfect wine as well. We'd love to go back next time we're in NYC.

The lobster carbonara was a disappointment - very little flavor at all. However, the 101 layer lasagna is wonderful and we brought a piece home for supper the next night.

Dined for dinner... I had the cheese pesto ravioli. I was not impressed. The pesto sauce was thin and lacking richness... Needs cream! It was very nutty which I like... However, the four cheese pesto ravioli at Maggiano's is far superior in my opinion. The salad was also pedestrian. As far as salads are concerned, the house salad at Carmine's on Broadway is the NYC benchmark! The offering here wasn't even close. I did eye a pizza pie that looked delicious! I went back a week later just for the pizza. I was very satisfied wit... read more

Wonderful place even if it is a bit filled with tourists. Good vegetarian options. Our waiter was awesome! We will return.

I really enjoyed my experience here. Initially I was taken aback by the overly friendly host staff, sounds weird to say that. But they were all very friendly and genuine. The food was delicious, and I would definitely return.

We have never had a bad experience here; on the contrary, it's always fabulous. When you arrive, you are treated as if you have been here a million times and are a familiar friend. The service is outstanding. Food is great. It is one of our favorite spots when we are in New York. And of course....we love the cookies at the end of the meal. we never have room for a full dessert.

The prices made us think twice before booking but everything we had was delicious!!! Chicken parm tops that of QI (don't wanna say full name) down the block. It was fantastic. Meatball app was so filling, I could barely eat my pasta. Every single staff member couldn't have been friendlier and attentive to our table. Can't wait to go back
