Very good food and service. Only complaint bathrooms are located down a very long stairway, elderly or handicap could not go. They said they could WALK down the street and use the neighboring restaurant facility. Ridiculous. Deducted a star because of that. Otherwise very good.
Great meal with great service. Our table was cramped but the meal made up for the close quarters
Service was sloppy, no oil or butter served with bread and when asked for some, it didn't arrive for 10 minutes. Appetizers forgotten, no sugar brought with coffee. Overall it wasn't the experience it used to be. With things like a $30 portobello mushroom and $55 veal chop, you'd expect more. An old NY favorite that seems to have slipped.
Sarah was our fairy, excellence in food, service and atitude. A must everytime in New York

The server didn't introduce herself nor lap our napkins, Dont they do this in NY? The table had a paper cover over top of the crumbs left by the previous diners. When I went to sit down I had to brush crumbs o... read more
