Great food and many delicious healthy choices. Staff is always welcoming as if you are family. You are never rushed through your meal and always feel comfortable.
Best Italian food in midtown, and we've done many of them. Excellent wine list. Make a reservation and ask to sit in the front window or in the back, slightly up the stairs. We were (with reservations) seated in the aisle that leads to the host podium and it was a busy night (NYC marathon weekend), so louder and more distracting than it probably would have normally been. The food kept us focused! Our server, Mike was awesome and personable.
The food at this restaurant was excellent! We met friends there-first time trying restaurant- and we were not disappointed. There are many options on the menu. I had a seafood dish- delicious. Others had lasagna (delicious and big portion), seafood pappadelle (delicious as well with many different kinds of seafood, and ravioli (delicious). It was the NY marathon weekend so the place was quite busy. We sat in a back dining room- happy for that because it was noisy and crowded by door. Would definitely go back!
The waiter was great. The food was good but not as great as I'd expected
We liked this restaurant overall. Food was good and we were seated quickly. It is a bit disorganized, not clear where to go to speak to host about our reservation. There was no waiting area so diners who had checked in already stood in front of host station so you had to jostle your way through. The menu was varied. I would have given higher marks for service but our order was mixed up, he brought my appetizer and main entrée at the same time and the rest of my party ate after I was finished. Otherwise, he was very attentive... read more
Room was a little noisy, but mostly because it was busy. Service was absolutely outstanding.
I love sitting at their antipasto bar section. The server, John, is amazing! Very friendly and professional!
My wife and I live on long island but have been going here for years (with and without friends), it's one of our favorite "haunts", but always sit at the bar (usually when Victor is bartending) but never sat at a table and had dinner. We love the artisan pizzas, the antipasto bar is to die for, and a nice bowl of spaghetti with meatballs will always hit the spot. We have seen and met many a famous person while dining here. Unfortunately, the night we decide to get a table and have dinner was the night before the NYC marathon... read more
We reserved a table for a pre NYC Marathon carb dinner for our son and this place did not disappoint! The host was so welcoming and shook our hands. He was also running in the marathon and chatted a bit with our son, sharing tactics. The food was delicious and the wait staff were attentive. The portions were also generous - enough for a long distance runner! Dine here - you won't regret it.
