We chose this restaurant based upon ratings and proximity to Carnegie Hall. After an excellent Valentine's dinner, we walked across the street for our concert.

consistent high quality, beautifully presented and carefully prepared food. Relaxed, but attentive service. always a great choice, and we will be back next time we are in the area.

This place is something special. We ate here due to a recommendation, which we are grateful. The welcome was warm and sincere, with a nice element of humour. Food is very classy and up-market, some of the nicest I've had. There was a delay in my wife's food coming out but this was excluded from the bill without any issue. It in no way marred the meal. A great place to eat.

Went to this restaurant for my anniversary before seeing a Broadway show. As soon as we walked in, the service was great! About four different employees came over to great us throughout the night and to make sure everything was satisfactory. The menu is a little pricey, but the portions are well worth it. My boyfriend got the chicken parm and it was the size of a small pizza. The service was prompt so we could make our 8pm show but we never felt rushed. Definitely worth having dinner here!

In New York for a daughter's concert at Carnegie Hall, eight of us met at this restaurant and had a great time. The antipasto bar and plate of focaccia, brought to the table immediately, provided an excellent start to the evening and the dining experience just got better from there. The wait staff was attentive and engaging. Our entrees were presented beautifully and wonderful desserts topped off the evening. I would certainly return to Trattoria Dell'Arte.

Brandon at the entry, Cynthia at the bar, occasional celebrity sightings, best thin crust pizza anywhere, this is my default for comfort dining with a bigtime personality factor-convenient to the carnegie hall, and business friendly. They get the little things right, consistently right, valuing the recurring customer.

Always enjoy coming here when we are in NYC. Absolutely love the antipasto! My husband had the veal marsala which was fantastic. The staff is very attentive and quite inviting upon arrival. It's a real treat to dine here!

We had a reservation on Super Bowl Sunday for two and got there about thirty minutes before the big game. They had installed a large TV at the bar for those interested with the game. We weren't especially interested in the game but we're not bothered by those who were. We had the 101 layer Lasagna and the Veal Parmigiana. Both were excellent.!! Raymond, the maitre d, came over several times to check on us and even sent over a couple of complimentary glasses of champagne. The restaurant filled up quickly but we never felt pre... read more
