Chicken Parm was the best I have ever had!! Great service too!!
It is too crowd and noise in the restaurant. There is not enough space to enjoy the meal.
Fantastic meal and service would definitely recommend authentic Italian had a really enjoyable night
We ordered the real italian caesar salad and the seafood pappardelle. Both were excellent. we also had a glass of Pinot Grigio and a glass of Gavi. Both wines were good and fairly priced by the glass. The Cannoli in blueberrry sauce for dessert was also perfect. We heard that the lemon cake is world class and we plan to order it next time. The service was also extremely friendly, from the moment we were greeted by the host to the welcome given to us by our waitress. We only had two minor negatives. We enjoyed the upbeat and energetic ambience, as well as the great food. The customer service was very good, with friendly staff that was attentive and helpful. We got the Margherita pizza, and it was a perfect thin crust that was tasty and flavorful.
Very good service, food was also excellent. Nice wine selection, by the glass. Next time in NY, will visit again.
The food was nothing short of amazing! My husband got the chicken parm, which was in his words, "the best thing" he's ever eaten. I got the pesto ravioli, a culinary delight; and our daughter got lasagna- which was big enough to feed our whole family. The service was perfect. From the minute we walked in the door, we were greeted like family, made to feel genuinely welcomed. This will be a place we will come back to any time we get a chance to come to the city.
Don't know why we had avoided this place for so many years. Perhaps we thought that the fare would be the standard Italian fare. But no. The menu was creative and the special pizzas irresistible. Service was equally very nice and professional. When we walked in, we were treated like old friends, a smile and a firm handshake. Same upon leaving. We now have added the Trattoria to our (small and getting smaller) list of favorites near Carnegie Hall.
We were seated about 10 minutes after our reservation time which was fine since we were at the bar with the fun bartender lady. We ate upstairs. I didn't know there was an upstairs. Food was great but the service was very slow. Problems in the kitchen. But it was ok because the 4 of us hadn't seen each other for a few months and we got to catch up. we had ordered a bottle of wine and half way through waiting for a dinner, the sommalier brought us another bottle on the house!! He apologized for the slow service. And mind you,... read more
