Trattoria dell Arte has long been a favorite. The cuisine is creative, the service excellent and the presentations notable. They are well known for their antipasti bar, of which there is a very large selection. My friend and I arrived early, before the restaurant was really opened, with no prodding, the door was unlocked and we were welcomed in, to sit and be comfortable, rather than having us wait outside on a chilly day. The restaurant is located well, across the street from Carnegie Hall on 7th Ave.

Great place! Beautiful ambience, friendly & professional service. The food was incredible We had the short rib & meatball pizza and the lasagne bolognese - so good & generous portions.
One of the best dining experience my BF and I had in NYC, especially for his birthday! Nick and Jamal were fantastic...coming by to check up as appropriate and so genuine and friendly; even brought a bday dessert without my request. The service was world-class outstanding and the food was amazing! Honestly can't beat it and can't wait to come back again! Ps, my BF even seek out the manager to pay gratitude and compliments.

Beautiful night sitting outside dining al fresco. Good people watching and the food was delicious. I had the lobster spaghetti carbonara and my wife had the Dover sole. Our server Vanessa was friendly and attentive. An overall enjoyable dining experience.
Great place for a business lunch and friendly get-together. Excellent food and the pizzas are the best in NYC. The crust is paper-thin and crispy.
Last two times I have been there the service has been poor. Either not enough staff or they don't vare
