I have long enjoyed this restaurant. Although it was quite busy on Saturday night, the service was charming and attentive and the food was very good. We were lucky to have a quiet table in the back but not hidden.
Although we arrived early and with one more in our party than we'd planned, we were seated immediately with no trouble. Our waiter was pleasant and prompt, and nothing was too much trouble. The pasta and pizza we had was excellent - I can't comment on the meat or fish, as we didn't order those. We will definitely return when we're headed to Carnegie.
Trattoria is always a pleasure, awesome people and decorations... Worth every penny!!! Brandon, the director, is something else!!! Happy, makes you feel special and comfortable ⭐️
An ideal spot for dinner before an evening performance at Carnegie Hall. Not inexpensive, but fair prices for very good food and attentive service. They are pros at handling a full house.
fun Italian menu and very happening spot for dinner before a concert at Carnegie. It is a place to be feed and feel happy!
Upon arrival, my party of three was informed that Trattoria Dell'Arte could not seat us due to the arrival of a health inspector and they sent us around the corner to their other establishment, The Brooklyn Diner which was fine but it wasn't what we were hoping for lunch that day. We do understand that things happen beyond anyone's control. We will try again with Trattoria Dell-Arte soon.
This is a great Italian bistro buzz. There was a small issue with my wife's enter one night and the staff responded immediately and graciously. No one is perfect, so it's how you reply that counts. They were 10/10 The meal was a huge success and only steps away from Carnegie! Bravo.
On a midweek night we found this place to be hopping. Very busy at 6:30. Perhaps it's the proximity to Carnegie Hall. Our waiter asked if we had theater tickets in case he needed to bring out our meal quickly. No rush for us. The Egglant Tagliatelle was delicious. My friend totally enjoyed her chicken dish. She lives in the neighborhood and said this experience was greatly improved over a past visit. An older crowd, like us, made us feel right at home.
Fantastic service. Truly top notch. Clearly a highly trained staff.
