Trattoria Dell'Arte was all that we expected and more. We particularly wanted vegetarian options and pleasant atmosphere for leisurely lunch and conversation, and we got these in spades. The food was all delicious and artfully presented. Our waiter brought tasting samples without even being asked to do so. The wide variety of nonmeat selections was unusual and much appreciated, yet the carnivore in our midst enjoyed an excellent steak. We certainly intend to return to Trattoria Dell'Arte at the very next opportunity.
Fantastic gluten free food and very friendly staff
This is old school Italian with a genuine NYC flair. My wife and grandson split an antipasta appetizer which included a caponatta that my wife said was fantastic. I had a caprese salad that was outstanding. The tomtatos were fresh and the mozzerella was house made, delicious. The main event was a pounded veal chop parmesan my wif and I split. The elegant service and fabulous food make every meal a special occasion. Go any time, but especially convenient if you are catching a performance at City Center or Manhattan Theater Club.
Have had a great experience each and every time I've gone there. The 101 layer lasagna is amazing. I also love the pizza with chicken and pepperoni.

The service was very accommodating and the food very good. The menu has certainly improved over previous years. The waitstaff was attentive and got our meals and the check out in time for us to get to Carnegie Hall without any stress. It was tough to get a seat for a drink after the performance as bar was packed and tables kept for diners.
