We only had 30 minutes before our concert at Carnegie Hall. Everyone from the maître d to the wait staff was incredibly warm and helpful. We got our food in five minutes and made it to the concert just in time.
The restaurant food and service were very good. My only negative was that we felt rushed and didn't have enough time to talk with our guests. Next time I would tell them up front to slow down the service.
Everything was terrific. While I generally find the restaurant a little noisy, we sat in the wine cellar room off the main dining room, which was cozy and quiet. I had the lasagna which was fantastic!
It is a good choice for after theater . We had a reservation for 9:30 pm . The play lasted until 10:15 . We were very late , but they were happy to accommodate us ! The service was good and fast .
This place has become one of our regulars on our frequent visits to Manhattan. Their thin pizzas are to die for! Their Burrata is excelent and everything in general seems to be right on... Would highly recommend as we always do. Thumbs way up !!!
Once the theatre crowd left, we arrived at 7:15pm, it was perfect. Noise level dropped significantly. Food was wonderful as usual.
Been there many times. Never fails to please. When we don't know where to go, it's always our go to place.
The entire restaurant is upscale. The place is well lit and quiet enough to allow for easy conversation. The waitstaff is experienced and well versed in all aspects of the menu. The food came out promptly and was excellent as expected.
Trattoria has by far the most service-oriented management team in midtown. They know their regulars and treat them as family, they embrace the tourists as newbie neighbors and every celeb knows they won't end up on Page Six and are discretely seated in the back (unless they want a paparazzi Fest).
