Upscale friendly place to eat before or after a show. Anti-pastos are wonderful. Service was helpful but not overbearing.

I have been to Trattoria Dell'Arte many times. A great solid choice in the Carnegie Hall Area. High enough on the scale to be impressive and reasonably priced for the quality delivered.

The pizza is outstanding here. Do not overlook the Canoli. It is the best I have ever had anywhere. The restaurant never disappoints. This time, we had our six year old with us, and they never missed a beat. There is always a celebrity or two to be spotted as well, so it's fun for people watching.

Across from Carnegie Hall. A broad Italian menu. Busy but still pleasant. Sit in the front room with a view of the passing parade on 7th Ave.

We had a lovely time. I especially appreciated that the waiter treated us like valued customers -- even though we were two ladies on diets who only drank water, coffee and ordered entrees with no appetizers. Have always loved the space and nothing beats a booth in the back.
