Good food but overpriced and not forthright with charges. New Prix Pixe menu is good but portions are ridiculousdly small, should not be called prix fixe dinner, but economical light fare. Some regular items ridiculously exoensive, eg. ordered Mozzarella & Tomato salad, got charged $ 10.00 for Mozzarella plus SEPARATELY $ 6.50 for 2 slices of Tomato! They take advantage of their unequalled location. Good food but one feels cheated!

This place is great!! I hear about it from a co worker and my boyfriend and I went for his birthday. We thought we should try it out for valentines day too! We absolutely loved it!!! The mozzarella and tomato salad was to die for and the antipasta selection was amazing!! The chicken parm is by far the best we've had and the pizza (paper thin) is so tastey you don't feel guilty eating the entire thing!! Love love love it here!!! Definitely coming back!!

Wonderful food with huge portions. Selections from the antipasta bar of roasted vegetables and other treats were an excellent opener for the table. Some stanbys were very good - veal marsala. fresh roasted bronzino, stuffed shrimp with crabmeat (Sauteed spinach served with the crabmeat was a delight with mushrooms and roasted tomatoes.) Pouned veal chop similar to a milanese filled a huge plater and was topped with cheese and riced zuccinni. A nicely broad and reasonable priced wine list. Only complaint was a rather noisy ro... read more

WOW - Best Italian in the city and I have very refined Italian taste. The business lunch option is remarkable, everything they offer is to die for. I recommend the pasta or anti-pasti (3 seafood options) to start and then the fish in the clay bowl. Also, go for the wine instead of desert, why not???? :) Don't pass on the prosciutto bread, TO DIE FOR!

Trattoria Dell'Arte is a true gem, perfect for a pre-performance brunch as it is close to both Carnegie Hall and the City Center. My group always meets for brunch there prior to an Encores! performance at City Center. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is delicious. Besides your regular order, staff come around with various complementary treats (muffins, sweets, chocolate) during the meal.

A really enjoyable evening - great waiter who did a lot to make the evening a success. Food plentiful and delicious, wine was a bit warm so were given a complimentary glass of Prosecco whilst it cooled down - a nice touch.

For restaurant week, appetizer sizes were very good whereas entrees were a little small.
