Always has been and remains my favorite Italian restaurant in New York. A great spot for business dinners or any occasion, the menu is diverse and the preparations are masterful. Our waitress, Laurie was charming, knowledgeable and helped make the evening a fun experience. The Veal Marsala is the best in town.
This place is fantastic with its eclectic art displayed on the walls. You can tell immediately that the cliental are satisfied with the quality of service and food from this restaurant. I recommend trying the hot antipasta, the wine list is endless, and the veal marsala and pasta dishes will put a big smile on your face.

Trattoria Dell'Arte is an institution in NY. It's a good restaurant -- sometimes bordering on very good-to-great -- but it is expensive for what it is. Somehow, irrespective of what is ordered or how much, it is impossible to keep the tab to under $50 or $60 per person, and sometimes that is without alcohol. Booked same day and was not disappointed. Excellent service and excellent food. Lively, vibrant atmosphere and overall a very enjoyable experience.
The food is consistently good and the service was superb. I come back time and again and each time the experience is great. One of my all time favorites.
The warmth of the welcome by the Maitre d' continues throughout the meal with very friendly and accomodating wait staff. The food is sublime - genuine Italian, and delicately prepared. The antipasto bar is phenomenal - rivals that of Fiorello's, and in my opinion, wins. There is a certain welcome that you get in this restaurant that makes you feel special. The food is great, the atmosphere is upbeat and the room attractive. Over all, one of my favorites in the Carnegie Hall/City Center neighborhood.
This restaurant has excellent food. Try the neatball appitizers for example. What I like the most is that the waiters and kitchen are very accomodating. They will venture to make something not on the menu. I had chicken milinese. Very tasty and tender. I have never had a bad dish at this restaurant.
