Veal Cutlet was highlighted as a signature dish - I my opinion it was pounded too thin and priced too high.
I haven't been in NYC in 10 years since I moved to Colorado. I always loved Trattoria. When I walked in, I felt like I was home. The food, excellent as always; the atmosphere, the same. Thank you for helping to keep the memory of this special restaurant the same; delightful.

Excellent service, great food. We feel pampered the minute we walk in the door. We have been going back once a year or so for the past six years, and it is a guaranteed good time.
I went to Trattoria with group of friends during restaurant week. The restaurant week menu was pretty good and so was the food from the regular menu. The waiter was amazing and a lot of fun. We were the loudest table in the restaurant but never had any problem with the staff and management...This is a Pretty cool, laid back restaurant with very decent food.
Our favorite place to go when in NYC. Every trip to NYC includes a meal a Trattoria Dell'Arte. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere memorable.
Service was superb. Our reservation was for 6 p.m. and the waiter immediately asked us if we were going to a show as he wanted to make sure he got us out in time without rushing us. Food was very good and restaurant noise level was fine for conversation (we had a table of eight). Definitely would recommend it!
I'm from D.C., but have connected with NYC friends at the Trattoria Dell'Arte many times. We affectionately refer to it as "The Nose" and it's always wonderful. This time I especially appreciated the new-to-me wine recommendation (a Gavi) by the friendly bartender.
