the food was better than average, particularly the appetizers, however it's lacking the ambiance you would expect in it's price range.
The experience was fantastic overall. The veal parmesan was absolutely insane, as were all the other entrees my party ordered. The apps were good but I have to admit I was pretty unimpressed with the shrimp cocktail... Not enough for me to say negative things about this restaurant though, because the experience overall was great.
The food was very good, but not exceptional. I was looking forward to the many vegatable appetizers and many were not available. When my table finally was able to find 4 for the $21, it seemed small and underwhelming. On the otherhand, I had the yellow fin tuna that I thought was outstanding.
Great restaurant. This was my second visit. Sat at the antipasta bar both times. I highly recommend sitting there. We had wonderful service, and the food was delicious. We ordered a combination of 7 things each from the antipasta bar, and that was enough to make a meal - with lots of variety.
The red snapper is great "worth a trip in the assessment of a friend".
Food is excellent, but expensive and noisy...lots of pre-theater rush. Caution advised
Great Antipasto Bar!!! Great Pizza!!! Great Veal Chop Parmigiana!!!
The cannoli were superior, best I've ever had! However, many things on the menu, such as the $25 gramigna pasta, are overpriced and the beet & asparagus salad was quite tasty, but had a mingy amount of gorgonzola.
We came to celebrate a graduation with a large group for late lunch. Service was attentive and friendly and food was delicious.
