The food was wonderful. My favorite was the scalloped potato dish on the side bar. I brought several undergraduate students and a graduate student to NY for the Columbia U State of the Planet conference and we met a former student who is an MD/PhD student at Columbia. Everyone enjoyed the food. Every morsel was gone. One student who is not an adventurous eater ordered a steak and he was very happy with his choice. This is my "go to" place in NY! And the reservation system was perfect. I'll be back!

Food was good but I think it's expensive for what it is.

We recently ate at Trattoria Dell'Arte before a performance at Carnegie Hall. They are right across the street - very convenient. The food was excellent! They have an antipasta bar. Overall a very favorable first time experience. Service attentive but not pushy, drinks arrived promptly. Appetizers well presented and reasonably sized and priced. The small/large plate pasta option useful. Wine by glass choice a bit limited but overall wine list quite extensive and reasonably priced. Overall bill for two around U$100 with some wine - not bad at all. I would definitely go back and recommend it to colleagues

Good but not fabulous. The basil pesto pasta was on the dry side. Wines are frightfully expensive.

Very accommodating in taking us a half hour before our reservation time. Food service well geared for allowing patrons to get to the theatre in time for shows (even though we were not going to the theatre, we still appreciated the quick service!)

Have been here before and never disappointed. Food excellent. Service beyond excellent. A great experience from the moment you meet the maitre d' to the very last taste of the exceptional menu choices. Will be back soon!

We recently took a group of 9 for a special occasion. We were seated upstairs, which is cozier than downstairs. The service and food were outstanding. Highly recommended.
