Spacious restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening. Nonetheless, the service was good. Tables were a bit close together, but typical of many NYC restaurants. Highlight was the special dorado fish. Calamretti appetizer was small and nothing special. Very convenient to Carnegie Hall directly across the street.

Very good meal. Our group of four had a great time and especially loved the pannetone choice for dessert. Best place to go if you have tickets to Carnegie Hall!

We found it perfect for a pre-Carnegie Hall dinner.Expensive but excellent. Nice food presentation, good quality food. Fun ambience. Decor could be improved...green walls with sandy colored accents. So...we ate at 5:45...it was great but I wonder how it would fare around theater time. We have eaten there before, at later time, 8 ish, and the service was not as good and it was jammed and noisy...lots of tourists. But we like that there is a big age range among the patrons...not just young people or older folks.

Upon arrival we were going to sit at the bar and have a dirnk before dinner, the disappointing and frustrating thing abotu this people were earing at the small bar with their children. I feel that the bar area is for adults to have a drink not for children to be eating pizza. When I approcahed the host/hostess abotu this they looked at me like I had 3 heads and said we coudl sit at he sushi bar. Well teh pizza people with the kids shoudl have been sitting at a table nto the bar. The service was great Luis our waiter was wond... read more

While the food was good the restaurant was too noisy and the tables very close together.

Went for $35 Restaurant Week dinner. Food was terrific. Ordered one of their pizzas, too, that was outstanding. Thinnest crust ever.

WE DINED AT TRATTORIA DEL ARTE ON VALENTINE'S DAY AND HAD A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THE CEILING OF THE RESTAURANT WAS COVERED IN PINK AND RED BALLOONS. WE GOT RIGHT IN WITH OUR RESERVATION AND THE SERVICE WAS SPECTACULAR AND THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE VISITING NY. OUR SERVER COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE PLEASANT AND THAT REALLY ADDED TO THE EXPERIENCE.

Food was very good. I haven't been here in years and was very impressed that the quality had remained so high. I would Recommend.
