Do not recommend using this company as we had our worst moving experience ever with this company in June 2026. boxes not labeled or labeled incorrectly, boxes not placed in the right location on delivery, packing never completed. items just dumped in boxes without wrapping. they cost way too much for poor quality work. they did nothing to remedy their lack of delivery of quality movers either. a month later we are still looking for some of our belongings. they cost us alot of work after the move date too. just horrific... read more

Guys were very nice and respectful however they did not take care of my boxed items, did not listen to me and my recommendations nor did they put the items in appropriate rooms as they said leaving many boxes to be moved by myself and my elderly parents and when they broke something they were not forthcoming!!! I literally had to tell one of them after he dropped five boxes these are fragile please take care when moving them. I just received a look. While it was an okay move/experience, it was not as professional as I had hoped and was led to believe. Two items were broken before loading due to not lifting the box incorrectly. At the end of the day, when one or both movers are high, it’s just not acceptable. The smell of weed was so strong on both days (the move was out of state). It was completely unprofessional and makes you question company policy and management.
I am not one to write a bad review but have received no further responses after reaching out and working with Chris Knowles. I used True Friends Moving after being highly recommended and I am sad to say I did not receive the care and service one would expect. During the move, there were walls hit and scuffed, that I had to fix and paint over before the new owner of the home could take occupancy. Tools needed such as a measuring tape the team did not have. Wanted to charge me $400 to move one (1) arcade machine from my second floor to my garage.

We hate to hear that you wouldn't recommend us as that's just the cost of our 2 hour minimum. Whether its 1 item or 2 hours, our guys make the same amount to make it worth it for them but people definitely hire us for single item moves everyday : )
The company knows why and we should have compensated at least another hour of wasted time on our dime!

Bait and switch. They quoted my daughter a lower rate for first two hours then charged her $249 per hour for five hours with no first two hour discount. This terrible company is nobody’s friend. They tried everything to stretch the length of time out so they could make more money. Big scammers, please avoid. SCAM SCAM SCAM

Richard, we would never change our pricing as we charge the same rates from start to finish and have a 1 hour service charge. We go over it with a recorded call, then email it once booked and then again have them sign off their understanding before we ever began. We are certainly not scamming anyone and have built a great reputation off sticking to exactly what's contracted for.
