I wish it was possible to give less than one star. The sales team was great, I was immediately sold on True Green for our lawn care needs. The team has been out several times to spray our yard at our new construction home. If anything, the weeds have gotten even worse. I swear they are fertilizing the weeds, not killing them. Terrible. They answer the phone on the first ring for sales, after they sign you up you cannot get anyone. I have more weeds than before I began. I cannot even get through to them to fire them. Cary, NC. DO NOT USE.
Their guys are so unprofessional. They park blocking my driveway then continue dumping their fertilizer at the end of my driveway and next to it. I don't even have service with you. Why are you using my yard and driveway to dump your chemicals. I even explained to the tech to please move. He then proceeds up my driveway and dumps the rest further up my property. They don't care. They destroyed my yard and lied about what they would provide. I'm calling my credit card company to charge back all of their services.
This is absolutely the worst my lawn has ever looked. I've contacted TruGreen (TruWeed) and have not had anyone contact me back. My pictures attached look like a "before" picture of what it looks like to have a horrible lawn. They came out on 8/16 to aerate and over seed. I questioned the timing as it is still very hot. I can't find ONE blade of grass coming up (2 weeks later, with irrigation). I really want to contact the BBB, but want to get my money back...this is beyond embarrassing to have my lawn look like this.
First, last week TruGreen failed to show up on Tuesday to treat our brown patch. It has only gotten worse and the earliest they said they could come was 5/27. Second, communicating with TruGreen is a horrible experience as there is no local franchise to contact. Everything has to go through central and the wait time on the phones and chat line are typically too long.
TrueGreen is a terrible service and their customer service is even worse. Their service did not work and then they tried to charge me for services that they didn't even perform! They then sent it to a collections agency after they confirmed that they i fact did not perform the service. When I tried to get them to send me a confirmation email that I didn't owe anything, they refused. Had to call them back to repeat service many times. They did not cover all of the lawn area under the terms of our contract even when I pointed out the yard boundaries each time they came. I cannot say that there was ever any quality service over 3 years so we finally dropped the service. They still showed up and applied lime after the cancellation. They said they would refund us but am still waiting weeks later for that.
We hired TruGreen for lawn care services and they solicit their Shrub and Tree services and we gave them the business as well. Whatever fertilizer chemicals they applied had killed five trees and 10 shrubs in my yard. All the leafs on the Holly became miniature and deformed. I contacted NC Horticulture and they told me it was the fertilizer TruGreen used caused the damage based on the pictures and my description.
