The Legacy is much more expensive to service than my Outback. Forgot my discount coupons and so paid more than I should have

When going from a 2005, to a 2017, the type of oil used is more expensive, however it does last 2x as long, for less than 2x the cost (6,000 miles or 6 month interval vs 3,000 or 3 month interval on the old car). The car occasionally gave us trouble starting. They replaced the cam sensor and it solved the problem!
