EVERYTHING is great here!!! If you're not in the mood to cook, but want to trick people into thinking you slaved away all day and whipped up the most amazing meal of their live's, hit up Uncle G's... they got you!
This place has the most amazing food on Long Island. Pasta, salad, cheese, meat, dessert- i could go on forever but I am sure you know. Not only that though, but the hospitality has only been amazing. I was stationed overseas for 2 years and just got back. What can I say...all is good here! True it can be pricey but let's be honest, I'm not shopping here with my weekly grocery list. Great for shopping during the holidays. I'm not much of a fan of the pizza here on L.I. but I must admit they make really good pies here in their pizzeria section. We miss their bucket of wings for Sunday football....please bring it back!!!

Uncle Giuseppes has the best fresh pasta and prepared Italian dishes. They're fish and meats are by far the best in the area and great bread and produce as well. Definitely a 5 star supermarket!
Donna G is accurate when she says 'somethings good, some bad'. That accurately describes Uncle G's. The specialty stuff is nice but expensive and I very rarely buy it because it's so specialty while all the grocery store items are overpriced. Best things i get are the ravioli, fresh mozzarella, and chicken thighs and cold cuts. Vegetable department is hit and miss and i just can't do my weekly shopping there which means i don't go there often. Their parking lot sucks! Dangerous even! But we don't come here for parking. It's what's inside that you wanna put your life on the line for. Another place I've always come to but forgot to review. It's a really nice Italian specialty market. Everything you want in a supermarket with an emphasis on Italian foods. They even have a singer on Sunday's if you come after 1pm.
