I had a work lunch party today and I brought dessert from Uncle G's. Long story short, if you want to be the popular kid at work or you just want to make people happy, the desserts here are amazing. I got the cannoli dip, which is a platter of chocolate chip cannoli cream for dip and crushed up cannoli shells for the dip. It was such a hit! Some things good, some bad. The carrot/ginger soup really good. The eggplant rollantini (by the deli)is sometimes sour. They got rid of the pizza station. They sell great Italian beer. They are getting rid of most of the italian soda. It seems like a new manager every few months. Maybe 3 workers speak English there. The catering woman had such a low cut blouse! Nice marketplace which has almost everything you need. Recall coming here last July because needed a last minute number candle for a birthday cake and they had it unlike the CVS next door. They also make and sell deeeeeeelicious and moist Strawberry short cakes which my friend got me for my birthday and refreshing assorted fruit bowls. Love this place!
A lot of great items here but some of the stuff is extremely pricey. You can shop some really good sales here and get yourself a treat or two without breaking the bank.
Had 3 parties catered from them. All 3 times the food arrived at the promised time, hot and delicious. The staff they provided was professional and efficient. The marketplace has fair prices, helpful employees and a wonderful deli and the italian bread is the best around.

This is the tale of 2 stores. One good. One bad. On the good side they have the best mozzarella anywhere and their cheese dept is really good. The deli is decent with a large variety of prepared foods and speciality items. Prices are commensurate with other Italian speciality markets with some being expensive and others reasonable. Their store brand artichokes are $10.99 per pound. That's crazy expensive. Better off getting cento at 4 jars for $5. Great deli selection and friendly staff. The markets prices are reasonable with a wide selection of goods.
Classic Italian American market. Great prices on Italian cheeses and fresh pastas. Come for the Italian grocery, the rest of the store is just average.
