The worst Customer service ever . went to the deli and ordered a sandwich . 1st they where out of many meats mostly red meats , Roast Beef . that I worked around . 2n then in the middle of making my sandwich I guess the manager called a meeting . I'm a regular customer of the Morris Plains UG, and a frequent flyer of the bakery dept. (and have a huge sweet tooth) I've noticed over the past few weeks that there's been changes in the bakery-for the worst. I've noticed that the vast variety of cookies and products have become very limited Compared to what it used to be. store looks beautiful§, love the crab cakes and avioli. produce department nice! Marinated flank Steak on sale! absolutely awful. bought and let it marinate a few more days, however, extremely tough and tasteless.. my husband knows how to grill and cut steak. threw it away

I purchased 15 items of which 5 were on sale. The sale items did not reflect the sale price when checking out. Fortunately I was watching the checkout and advised the cashier of the issues. She was able to fix 4 of the 5 sale items. I had to go to the service desk to get it corrected. The "service" person weighted the item and said I would get a .03 cent refund. I replied that the weight was not the issue , but the price per pound was wrong. The display tag said 1.99lb, and I was charged 2.99lb. I had to walk her over to the... read more

I truly want to love this store.... it has so much potential. but you really have to be careful what you buy. so many items are really very salty... especially pre made and prepared meats. I recently purchased uncooked chicken burgers and we threw out half of them..if I could have returned them I would... at their prices beware if you are watching your salt intake. I just don't know why? prime meat? lay off the salt... we can add it if we need to. such a shame.

RICH Melville biotches (Real Housewives of Melville?) will fill their carts as you "gasp" at the high prices. The only benefit to coming here is FREE CHEESE SAMPLES all day long! OMG delish !!!!! They do carry some items that nobody else does -- so if you are doing a "very special romantic dinner" - you may wanna splurge here - but oh dear God: Weekly shopping here for basics will empty your life savings ! (They had jars of stuffed peppers for $5.00 , not Victoria , some other brand. but that was a rare "deal" here ). They... read more
