I come to this place whenever I'm going to BBQ. They have the best meats and a great selection of prepared foods. One of the things I always get here is the chicken pinwheels and the steak pinwheels. They are filled with goodness that is awesome on the BBQ. Theu also have great sausage chicken, pork you name it they have it. I wouldnt recommend shopping for your regular groceries here but the meat & deli sections are great.

Specialty places like this really lure me in - I love that you see specialized cheeses, meats, store made ravioli, and a huge selection of special chocolates and candies.... But Uncle Giuseppe's, unfortunately, didn't hit the mark. Mostly because their produce was "old" and the selection limited. Love Uncle G's food. Had a negative experience with a check out employee last week about sale prices and vowed never to go there again. But when I brought it to the attention of their corporate office, they took my complaint seriously and it was quickly resolved. Very impressed! So their quick action, good products and competitive sale prices will bring me back.
The reason for only 3 stars.....Armando is the nastiest grumpiest old man behind the deli counter. He is not accommodating when he is out of a product or to go and get a fresh batch of raviolis when theres none in the case. I think he is down right "mean". I have given him several chances too as I am a regular at UGs. Everyone else I have dealt with are great. The sausage I found to be too fatty and lacking taste. Italian Market. I am generally not a fan of Uncle Giuseppe's mostly due to the exorbitant prices here. This is tempered by the pretty amazing selection of items that they have for sale as well as the different departments such as the ready to eat foods, the cheeses and the sweet meat and seafood areas. In terms of going food shopping here, not the best place. I am in agreement with previous reviewers their deli and prepared foods are awesome. You can also get incredibly lucky with their manager specials as long as you intend on cooking the meat/pork/chicken that day. All in all I enjoy going here especially if I want to pick up some stuffed garlic knots or something else to just popin the oven and not have to think too much about.

Great atmosphere and specialty foods. An experience as well as an up-scaled food store. Good sales, clean, fresh, the best around. Can be very pricey on many items but the quality is usually worth it.
