The honeymoon is over. I cannot see shoppers going to UG for a full order unless you hit the lottery. Prices are way too high. I do expect a start up curve with training new employees. I was in a long line at the bakery department and there were eight employees behind the counter. One employee was waiting on customers ( extremely slow and did not know how to work the scale) . The staff in the deli department are in need of customer service training. I visited the deli counter on 4:23:2022 at 10:30am and was met with opposition about my order. One pound of shaved roast beef is what I asked for and asked if I could please see it. The response was it looks like chopped meat I still asked to see it and was refused a second time. The 2 old men behind the counter apparently only respond to masculine request and not women. Last time I will go there.

Omg the lasagna was thrown in garbage!! Sauce was terrible... not Italian at all!! Presentation is beautiful but how disappointing... Better off having less items at the deli area better quality

I really want to love this place, but I kinda feel like everything looks a lot better than it is. Today we were disappointed again. My wife and I bought some minestrone soup. We both took two spoonfuls and threw it out. It was horrible. I can't even describe the seasoning. Is this really the best an Italian market can do with minestrone soup? My Italian Grandmother would have marched back in there and poured it over Giuseppe's head. If there is one.
Uncle Giuseppe's has discontinued its wonderful Raisin-Walnut bread, in my opinion, the best product they make. I've been buying it every week for years and learned last week that they would no longer be baking it -- or selling it for that matter. My grandchildren and I are quite upset. Note to Uncle Giuseppe: Please email me when you change your mind, correct this mistake, and resume selling this product so that I will know when to resume shopping at your store.
