I've been away from New York for 34 years. My sister took me here when I visited and my heart about jumped outta my chest! I mean the amount and variety of delicious prepared foods, along with the boars head cold cuts (we don't get boars head in Cali), the memories of all this delicious food was overwhelming. My sister spoiled the hell out of me and got everything I asked for. I think I gained 5 pounds just walking through the store. I can't wait to go back!
Great store....great staff! I have been greeted kindly in every department, helped when needed as well. I've also used them for catering and not only was the food delicious, the catering manager was accommodating. Just don't go in there hungry!!

Can be pricey but offer exceptional food. Best canoli's on Long Island. Love going here. Great shopping atmosphere.
The selection of delicious gourmet Italian and American favorites, the plentiful selection of fresh produce (not the cheapest I must say), a deli section that has wonderful ideas for any meal, especially when accompanied by Giuseppe's fresh bread, cheese, and salad novelties. We live in East Meadow and have been shopping at the EM location for years. I always loved the food so when my husband and I decided to have a backyard reception after our wedding we chose them to cater. The party was at my In-Laws in Mastic Beach. We ordered the food at the Uncle G's in East Meadow but the food came from the Smithtown location because it was closer. ** The food was GREAT! This place is simply the best. They have an amazing bakery and deli selection. Overall the store is super clean and everything is of high quality. I would give 5 stars but I had one incident where there was a bit of sticker - probably coming from the fruit - inside my macaroni salad. It wasn't going to kill me and more importantly it wasn't something like hair so I wasn't too upset. Also, the kids who work there are alright but would it kill them to put away their cell phones while ringing up customers?
