Incredible shopping experience but be prepared to spend some money, but you get quality food. The offer so much: Italian prepared food, deli with so many options, pizza, sushi, bakery, groceries. It's the Disney of Italian stores. A favorite is the mini garlic knots with eggplant, meatballs and grilled chicken. Sauces and soups are fabulous.
This review will definitely receive an update on our last visit. Like my previous review, they offer a lot of food, including takeout. We looked at all the dishes, and man, many decisions. I wouldn't mind sampling within a few days or even once a week if I lived close. For eating in, tables are provided just after the checkout, located straight ahead towards the windows. There were no issues with customer service as things moved along. The store looks clean and organized, and it is eye-appealing.
Disappointed in a Manager who after a very kind bakery clerk said he would repack in a box some pastries goods for me were abruptly shot down by the manage. We love the bakery department and all the ones involved there but this man left a bad impression with us.

There are several big supermarkets near my house but we still make regular trips to Uncle G's, because they offer the BEST and largest variety of every category on our shopping list: gourmet coffee, cooking oil (olive and otherwise), pasta (fresh and boxed), sauces, cheeses, antipasto, etc. Their fresh produce section is gorgeously laid out, everything looks amazingly delectable, and one just wants to take it all home! Still considered one of the top 5 gourmet markets in Bergen County and voted 2024 Best of Bergen for best carryout as well as best cheese shop, my partner and I made a return visit to this establishment today for some grocery shopping. Last weekend, I was visited family in the area and stepped out to grab lunch and some sweet treats. I got a hero and macarons and a brownie pop. The volcano sandwich was insanely good and my cousin seemed to like the brownie pop. I tried the French macarons and they were genuinely the worst ones I've ever had. I didn't even get through one. It's was stale and sour. Frustrated because they were so expensive, I called the next day asking if anything could be done.
