I shop her all the time. I love the food and the employees are the best. I asked for a donation for a fundraiser and they blew me off. I feel very bad since I literally spend hundreds of dollars each time I'm not sure I'll continue shopping here.
I think I must be dreaming...I have stepped into "Italian Deli/Grocery" heaven!!!! Please DO NOT WAKE ME UP! I repeat, Do not wake me up!!! While I was in NY for a family wedding, my cousin told me all about this place. So, this former New Yorker, had to check it out. OMG!!!! An absolute fun shopping experience for an Italian foodie. Uncle Giuseppe's is basically a supermarket that features shelves of Italian goods, as well as hot & cold sandwiches, pizza and specials. The store is large, fully stocked, impeccably clean and there is plenty of seating for lunch to stay. The prepared food is good, think 'pizzeria' good, more than Italian restaurant good. With expectations in check, I would say that it's a great spot to shop and eat if you're in the area. Prices are average/plus.

Oh my goodness what a delightful store to visit especially if you're hungry or have a sweet tooth. This perfect store was great as I recently moved into a new neighborhood & discovered this gem. All the meats look so fresh & nice & the store itself is stocked to the roof. I will definitely visit again.
Returning from Florence, Italy, I wanted two unusual cheeses. Hasan, I believe the buyer for this department, was far better informed than what I found on Google. He is passionate about cheese; this passion is a walking encyclopedia on his subject. I even asked him about Barthélemy, the cheese shop around the corner from my flat. 'Monsieur is the king of cheeses there...." As promised, his picks are delicious....

From my first purchase years ago to Sunday's weekly haul I have been in love with Uncle G's. Each Sunday I take the most beautiful drive to Melville to shop the aisles chock full of treats. The staff at Uncle Giuseppe's Melville is INCREDIBLY friendly and warm! The roving Frank Sinatra style singer is one of the reasons I return each week.
