Very large Large selection of food products, especially anything Italian. Prepared food is hit or miss, sometimes it's good, sometimes it's not. Produce is nothing special. Quality of most baked goods is below par. Best fresh mozzarella cheese in Bergen County.
Went there today to pick up a few things! We tried the double cut prime rib eye and the porterhouse steaks. They were pricey...and worth every penny! They were about 2 in. Thick and I followed the cooking directions for grilling them and topped them off with some melted butter with a piece of sage in it. Perfection. Will definitely return for those again.
Pricey but convenient. There are a few good sales. Hot food bar is a good thing if you're pressed for time. things are overpriced but I'm sure the rent is high. I can't complain though. fresh bread, decent bakery, imported products. best value is the lunch subs for $10-! enough to split!
Uncle G's is a pretty solid Italian market off of route 10. It's very clean inside and they have a wide assortment of a lot of different foods. The bakery section is very stocked as well as the prepared foods. I haven't ate a ton of stuff and I do go to the deli sometimes which can be a long line on a weekend. Fun place to shop! They even had an Italian crooner strolling through the aisles. The deli and take out is chock full of delicious choices tho it's all very Italian. I heard they have a restaurant upstairs which I didn't notice.
We shop here nearly daily. There is so much good going on here it's crazy. The pizza is extremely good and they have great deals on it. The chopped salads are great and you can get creative with them. There are so many amazing cheeses & cured meats available your charcuterie options are infinite! The butcher shop always has some of the best meats. The fish shop has fantastic choices. Let's not forget the fresh mozzarella factory in store. Today was my first time here my girlfriend took me when we came to Long Island, great experience, plenty variety of different meats, vegetables,cheeses, ready to go Meals, had a great time don't go hungry or you'll be like me I wanted everything they had to offer people working there were very nice take a visit you won't be disappointed.
Awesome all around lots of selection for Italian specialty products. I especially loved the premade grilled balsamic and teriyaki chicken. And so happy they had my cacciocavolo cheese.
