The food was phenomenal, the service was terrible unfortunately.
Really disappointed in the food. It honestly was just bad. We had the special (sea bass) which was hard, rubbery and extremely tough to chew. It was harder than super firm tofu. The octopus was overcooked and the apps (dates and tuna tartar) were pedestrian. This place got such rave reviews but I just don’t see it.
I got the King Salmon, which was pretty decent. My husband got the chicken wings, which were horrible. They were very hard and incredibly dry. Also, our waitress didn’t come back to check on us for quite some time after getting our meals. So, even of my husband wanted to order something else, we would have been there for a very long time. They didn’t charge us for the wings, so that was a positive.
Very limited menu. Table we were sat at was too small for having dinner.
Honestly a poor experience. They were super overbooked for a Tuesday and the poor hostess, server and bartender were all completely overwhelmed. Everyone was polite and professional but we were seated 10 min after our reservation, took another 10 min for our server to come by, 15 min for drinks, water glasses were empty most of the night, food took a while, fries were cold, dipping sauce had a film on top, we had to ask for our checks so we could finally get out of there. Won’t be back anytime soon. Get it together, CRG!!
Me and my husband ate dinner there for Valentine’s Day and made reservations. Our server Matthew was absolutely amazing! The biggest problem is I ordered the sirloin steak and requested it medium well. The first time it was brought to the table. It was medium rare. I asked them to re-fire it, and it came back Over done, almost burnt. Matthew was very kind and getting me a new steak but then that one came to the table medium rare as well. This was our first time here. I assumed this was a high end restaurant and it was not. TVs and close seating reminded me of Buffalo Wild Wings. My steak was cooked perfectly medium but the temperature was cold?! We will not be returning. Just not our cup of tea.
Wasn’t the best food. Disappointed for the value. Normally better.
The buser accidnetly spilled a bottle of wine and glass of water in my lap. They felt that not charging me for the bottle of wine that I didn’t get to drink we enough to make it right. Stuff happens but when you ruin a pair of suit pants not compensating someone when you are having a $200+ meal is not acceptable. Do better you’re not Applebees.
