Vanderbilt was our last chance/last resort lender and while we did get approved for a mortgage with them the customer service/communication with them was nearly nonexistent I received various emails with different info all saying "please call me if you have any questions" which I tried to do multiple times to multiple contacts that had sent emails leaving a message with my contact info each time none of which ever returned my calls ever so while I am glad we got a mortgage I will never recommend Vanderbilt as a 1st choice fo... read more
They didn't waste any time once they realize you seriously
Always answered my calls or called back within a couple of hours.
Took forever, failed to make any effort to correct the employment verification, very unresponsive. High rates and fees as a lender,.
The process took way to long and there was very little communication
This transaction took way too long to complete. I understand that having to add my wife to the packet added some time, but this should not have taken as long as it did. I sell real estate for a living, I completed all of the information requested in a timely manner, and attempted to call and email on a regular basis. Kyle Lecko was the guy who helped pull all this together and I do appreciate his efforts to get this closed.
Todd never called us back and was never available. He also got alot of our information wrong
Poor communication throughout the whole process. Went multiple weeks without anyone returning phone calls or emails. Ordered my appraisal 5 weeks after they told me that it was ordered. ran up to the last minute before my credit expired. Just a very poor experience all the way around which has caused delays in getting permits and my home complete.
