Vanderbilt worked with me to secure financing when 2 other lenders declined my application. I am not a financial risk and found the application process starting with the assumption that I was a BIG risk and had to prove my worth. Maybe that's the type of applicants that these lenders mostly work with, but I'm not like that. It surprised me that paying off my car loan and continuing to drive my car for another 11 years was suspicious.
