Been looking for a new car for a couple months now. I finally chose the Hyundai Tuscon. Let me say that the sales staff that greet you in the lot when veiwing & testing driving the cars were great, but it all eneded there!! We were interested in the 2022 Tucson Limited. The MSRP was around $36k. We made a CASH offer for the full MSPR price, and it was declined. Then MSRP + $2,500. Declined. They stated the options were not included in the MSRP. WTH? REALLY?? Service dept are a bunch of dumb xxxxx.After they finsh Service dept are a bunch of dumb xxxxx. After they finsh they block your ride. You ask them to move them they just look at you.

Very bad customer service for new car buyer. Stiffed us on the 2nd set of remote/key and it has been over 8 months with no resolution. Lied to us twice that the remote has been mailed out.Spoke to their GM last month who assured resolution but never called back or responded. We have emails as proof that we sent out to Hyundai directly and text message to their sales manager for proof that we were owed a remote. These remotes are pricey to justify us buying on our own. Horrible Husband went in and got a good deal for our son who was stationed over in South Korea at the time and even put a deposit down and told them our son would have his own financing and they did not say anything to him then. So today 7/23/2020 they go over there and they tell them it is more money then what my husband and the sales guy agreed on and they would not take his financing and only could use theirs. WE WILL LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW HORRIBLE VANDERGRIFF IS AND WILL NEVER SHOP

Service Rep Allen was good but he rec Trans flush & replace plugs. I requested quote to budget for future visit & not mentioned in paperwork i recd. Not sure all the checked Multi-point insp done as indicated $49.95 value which was free. I know left rear Brake light not working, my wife followed me to Service Dept & called me to let me know. And i noticed as i was checking in Wife's Sonata Reg expired 2/2020. They were both checked as "Passed". Hector is a terrible dealmaker and a rude person. If you have to go there just talk with someone else. nonsense, impolite, and hard to believe.

He advertises price of cars as a great value which it shows in Carfax in comparison with other same model however he would not sale for same price and adds a lot other cost on table which increase the price nearly 15 to 20 percent. Big scammer.

Whatever you do, avoid this dealership at all costs. I happened to find my dream car here, but from the moment you sign the contract and hand them a check, they care nothing about you as a customer. No communication about what’s going on with your car, from employees or management. And then they will keep your car from you and not communicate what’s going on even though the parts they’re “waiting” on, won’t be in house till months later.
